I haven't played the demo yet... though I can assure you, I WILL!

Are you going to release it for mobile and/or a handheld device like the Switch 2? You know it will be criminal offence if you don't, right? 😂

If you check the Godot Asset Library/Asset Store and GitHub, you'll find a good few templates and add-ons that can help you make an RPG.

There are many tutorials on YouTube as well. Given that the RPG genre is VERY popular amongst Godot game devs, finding useful resources is trivial.

Good luck! 👍🏾

You can do visual scripting with Godot 4 via the 'Orchestrator' and 'Block Coding' plugins. Godot 3 has visual scripting built-in.

Unreal, Unity and GameMaker Studio all offer visual scripting.

You'll probably want to check out Gdevelop, because like Construct, it uses event sheets. 👍🏾

Apparently, they're making making fundamental changes to the engine and claim to have already achieved major performance gains.

They're calling it the 'ReX Engine', although they weren't smart enough to check if the name is already in use... *SPOILER ALERT*... it is.

Capcom won't be happy! 😆

If all goes to plan, it'll be available in Godot 4.7

If it is true, could it be the way they implemented Vulkan in Godot 4? Was it a janky implementation? That's what my gut feeling is telling me 'cos from what I can gather, these issues only seem to be affecting Android phones.

Obviously, this has implications for non-Mac desktop users as well... 🤔
