Oh, these aren’t people they’re following.

I am referring to people I follow who respond to a troll (that neither they nor I am following) and, when I look at the post they responded to, I can’t read it because I’ve already blocked said troll.

It’s a pattern I see regularly.

Ah, Democrates. You’d think he’d be mentioned more often, yet they keep saying Cleisthenes is the father of democracy. 🤣

I saw them in Sydney last year, in a wonderfully small theatre — one of my favourite venues. I took this photo after the show (I had a late dinner across the road afterwards). Just after I took it, staff came out to change the marquee. That made me feel sad.

38% though… who are those people?

Alphaville: Forever Young.

Or any album by The Smiths and some by The Cure.

I’m reading this in a cafe while waiting for my order and my eyes are welling up.

And now I awkwardly don’t have anything else to add. I felt that keenly.

There was a time that his unprofessional language would have put me off his statements.

These days, seeing someone brave enough to speak plainly in public is rare and encouraging enough to offset that.

Most do just enough to appear to do so, hoping not to attract Trump’s attention.

I grew up with this song playing regularly: “…Seems it never rains in Southern California…”

I have never been there but a lifetime of American films, TV shows and literature has me feeling something about it. Funny how that can be.

I just posted a similar comment before seeing yours. I think so!

“I read it for the articles.”

It’s not easy to tell when so many of their official posts read like satire.

There really is no line.

I know that feeling. 😁

I love that image.

I am truly sorry about that. I am encouraged by the fact that so many do not accept it.

It feels to me that the world turned around 9 years ago and it hasn’t been right since.

I have never more appreciated “Stop the world, I want to get off.”

Nothing should be worse than I expected at this point but they continue to push on past that.

I love that series too!

I will get to the books.

We have Milky Way here. I like them. They are not as sweet and they are “light”. That doesn’t mean they’re the same as what you have, of course.

I like the rain. It started raining in the evening, which perhaps prevented more kids from coming, but it was nice.

Hello, Sir!

I hope you are doing well. The weekend is fast approaching. It is already Friday down under. In Sydney, anyway. Perth will join us in two hours. 😁
