You could wonder why showing a so small and innocent field in in indie dev city builder "The Blackout Project". But it hides a lot of changes in the simulation game for how energy source sites are working now. And managing stock is a requirement for transportation.

A strange adventure to implement river capability. Bugs in TGS, wrong info from ChatGPT. My proxy grid helps at least to validate engine code. TGS is full of surprises. Things ran better as i created a tool to study TGS.

With a little more tuning, i think it could be an acceptable solution for rivers in The Blackout Project game. Not sure the stylized texture is the best rendering. Sometimes simplicity is perhaps the better. Any opinion ? #CityBuilder #IndieGame #GameDev #PCGames #indieGames
