The third session of the D&D 5e campaign I'm running for several other streamers/artists is tomorrow, December 12 at 6pm Eastern time! I'll post links to the streams showing it and the players participating before we go live.

I sometimes poke fun at the readers for making these characters make ridiculous decisions during dungeons, but I'm the one who made Kamau try to go visit his ex.

The court battle in my previous comic was one of my favourite storylines. Just saying.

A couple of weeks ago, I ran a D&D session during the Pixels for Palestine fundraiser event. Today, at 4PM Eastern, I and some others will be continuing the story we started!

We're planning to stream the game on at least two channels:

That free manor, and the sacks full of money to spend restoring it... are you telling me that stuff came with a COST?!

There's something absolutely crazy happening just off panel to the right, here. Too bad you can't see what's there.

But wait, what's this down here...? A link to Dungeon Eyes Dot Com???

Most Core creatures are twisted versions of creatures from other regions, but a few are entirely unique. I tried to mostly use those, but I threw in an arboll, vinoc, and hyren for good measure.

Koil and grax are some of my favourite creature designs in the game.
December 2, 2025 at 5:44 AM
The characters are wandering through the Core, the source of evil magic in the Magi-Nation lore, and several Core creatures stalk them. From left to right, there's a cluster of grubbles, a core hyren, a shadow vinoc, a gorath, a koil, a grax, and an arboll stalker.

Lohk has two kinds of creatures. I gave her a flying hinko because it powers up spells, which are Lohk's whole thing, and I also gave her a couple of weebos because they are famously edible and delicious. I like to imagine she had more when she first started wandering through this area.

Botanya's creature was an easy pick. Her normal flytrap summons originate from a forum game from almost 20 years ago, so I honestly can't remember if they were explicitly inspired by the magor creature, but the resemblance is very strong.

And, since Coccyx apparently has one oracle, I decided to give them two more. Especially once I noticed these two relics seem to each mount on a different forearm.

One of the oracles is a magi, which means Coccyx has no way to gather all seven, so they'll never win with this strategy.
December 2, 2025 at 5:27 AM
Coccyx has one creature, a bone grag. It's one of the most plainly skeletal creatures in the game, so it seemed like a good fit. It's also an "oracle", one of seven cards from the d'Resh region, which allow you to win the game automatically if you can get all of them on the board.

Here's another Dungeon Eyes bonus panel I drew, this one to commemorate the arrival of my Magi-Nation cards that my readers bought for me earlier this year, and also as thanks for everyone who donated to Pixels for Palestine last month!

Original art references for the various creatures will follow.

If there's one thing I know about symbolism, it's that it doesn't exist and there's nothing to worry about.

For tonight's stream, I'm going to be opening 27 boxes of Magi-Nation cards, which my lovely Ko-Fi supporters enabled my compulsive desire to buy!

I also have a couple of surprise reveals in store, so come check it out!

The last batch of tokens (not including the PCs who use others' art). These are all vagabonds who arrived in Middle-Night with the players.

The corn general and corn knights are recognizable from both the stream and from Dungeon Eyes. In fact, all of these are my characters from other places...
November 19, 2025 at 6:36 PM
Five tokens for veteran vagabonds found in Middle-Night. On the top row is Edward the cockroach wizard, Armillaria the fungal colony, and Betty. On the bottom row is Tungstanley the robot bartender and, unseen in the stream, Gerda the goblin high priestess of the Goddess of Sleep.
November 19, 2025 at 6:30 PM
Some tokens!

This group contains native creatures of Middle-Night. On the left is the massive sewer gator, and in the middle column are a raccoon, a rat, and a member of the Watch. The Watch Captain is on the left.

The animals all use normal D&D animal stats: giant crocodile, polar bear, and wolf.
November 19, 2025 at 6:23 PM
The last four maps. The sewer gator map, the palace, and unused sewer and alley maps.

I'm a big fan of the sole splash of colour in the entire setting showing up at the end in the middle of a huge battle. I may or may not already know where the rift leads...
November 19, 2025 at 5:55 PM
But there's more!! I also made a bunch of pixel art maps and tokens!

Here are four of the major locations; the town square, the All-Nighter tavern, the jail under the Watch headquarters, and the previously unseen Cathedral of Slumber.
