Most likely scenario rn seems like a degredation of federal authority over the next ten years that dominos into a collapse of state authority, and simultaneously an emergence of major police departments and local developers and car dealerships as a sort of de facto government of cities.

That's a good guess. My theory for arpg is that he would love to call a meeting every week demanding a new, dumb system gets tacked on to the game and arpgs are good at absorbing that sort of dumb guy energy.
