I tend to believe the opposite. Unconsciously, a sizable proportion of humanity wants to be malicious and dishonest.

Extreme self-interest is in our genes. Violation of self-interest is unnatural. Doing what is unnatural is often the most virtuous thing one can do.

Rather, Project 2025 emphasizes government restructuring, executive consolidation, and sweeping reforms to agencies that safeguard civil rights and civil-service independence — elements many critics interpret as threatening rather than protecting civil liberties, privacy, and democratic governance.

The version of “Heritage 2025” described in the assertion — framed as a pro-constitution, pro-civil-liberty, pro-privacy, pro-ally/NATO, ethics-focused plan — does not align with what is publicly known about Project 2025.
