Manhunt- I love Lwaxana Troi but this episode isn't my go-to for her.

Peak Performance- didn't think that Picard needed to defend Riker's honor with the alien but I do like Data's adverse reaction to losing to the alien first time. Cute subplot.

Reasons for rankings:
Pen Pals is not an automatic rewatch for me. I like the message towards the end of it but it's just not all that interesting to me. There are far better prime directive dilemma episodes then this one.

-Riker's Dad rivalry in the Icarus Factor is interesting enough but I didn't buy the whole Pulaski knew Riker's Dad beforehand and just forgot to mention it.
-Time Squared is a flawed premise but I've always been a sucker for alternate reality stories which is why it's so high on my list.

Reasons for my ranking:
-the timing of measure of a man always gets me. Two episodes before in Schzoid Man, Picard argued that Data is different but sentient. Why does he have to do it again?
-Dauphin- it's a cute story but I'm interested in Wesley's love stories.

TNG's season 1 so many strong character moments in TNG's season 1. "You say you are evil? Shall I tell you what true evil is..." "You speak of glory and conquest and legends we will write. Yet, in all you say, where are the words, duty, honor, loyalty?" So many great speeches.

I thought about Lethe as well but First Flight stuck out to me more.
