Giant desert fire ring I made one winter when we were dry camping with a caravan of other families in the Utah/ AZ border. Took me the better part of an hour to collect all the stones and rake the ground. The whole daylight savings thing was tricky to remember.

Found this pencil drawing from 13 yrs back at the bottom of a box I was about to toss! I’ve lost so many pieces over the years while moving. I was drawing out at the French market and asked a fellow artist for new subject matter. Can you guess what she suggested? No reference, so it’s a bit dodgy.

Like a memory of riding a bike home in the evening. This is the third version I’ve painted of this scene, this time I used my left hand, ensuring a very different feel because it takes me about twice as long to complete them.
