Yes, that makes sense. It used to check bsky by default in the old implementation but we've since changed that so it works like this

Looks like we were relaying on stale records. bsky.social essentially has a stale record (?). It still thinks fry69.dev belongs to your old account. We now check your website FIRST. Let us know if you're still having issues. We definitely this to work seamlessly for everyone!

We removed all the "app password" login stuff in favor of #oauth login
This is better for you. Some tools might have broken. We spent a hole lot of time fixing them. Report any issues you run into.

mostly a "scratch your own itch"
block is nuclear and there's already a feature we added a while back to manage blocked accounts
muting is "I still want to see your posts, but not now" otherwise you'd just block them
The new mute feature gives you a place to mange the accounts you muted
