Finished Grandia 3 and... it was fine. Gameplay and presentation were great, but the story was weak. It tries to be a mix of 1 and 2's story but with no interesting characters or memorable events past the first 5 hours. Not a bad time, far from it, but it definitely feels rushed and incomplete.

To those who have played Grandia 3, what are your thoughts? I'm currently past the point where Miranda and Alonso leave the party, and that's apparently where the game starts to dip in terms of quality. It's a shame too because I'm genuinely having a good time, for now anyway. #Grandia #Grandia3

Finished Grandia 2 and it's definitely an improvement in terms of story and gameplay, but am I crazy for preferring the 1st game? The lighthearted tone, characters, world, music and the moment to moment events made it feel like a Saturday morning anime in the best way possible.

Is it safe to say Gael'gar is the most forgettable villain in Xenoblade? I feel like Dughall and most Mobius have more charisma and presence than this guy. Oh well, he made for a funny clip at least. #Xenoblade #XenobladeChronicles #FutureConnected

Future Connected is a good game but the removal of visions bothers me. Monado Armour is typically a safe option except when an enemy uses a talent art, and you'd have to guess when to deploy Shield oftentimes before the enemy uses it. Very backwards combat design. #Xenoblade #XenobladeChronicles
