Yeah, that’s…incomplete at best. Classical musicians are trained to be creative within parameters that require more compliance than say, jazz, as the score is a more detailed set of instructions than a chart. It requires a creative interpreter nonetheless.

Minnesotans really are amazing at weaponizing pettiness - you should have seen the “helpful hints for cold weather” they offered to ICE. Full of “tips” that would make your life a misery in our winters.

Minneapolitan here; moved here on a whim 20 years ago and has turned out to be fantastic. Grew up in Illinois; Chicago is also great but a very different feel. The access to nature in the Twin Cities is really superior though.

I feel this hard. The only way I eat Real Dinner after a workday is if the crockpot or the boyfriend makes it. Otherwise it is assembled from leftovers and snacks.

I have to say the stark contrast between Frey vs. Fateh, Davis and Hampton as three candidates who collaborated was a marvelous display of how everyone would govern. Although we’ve had a lot of Frey’s “governance” to reflect on I guess.

Starting a composer-lyricist workshop/collaborative boot camp and I’m excited AND scared. But really looking forward to Not Teaching and instead Being Taught.
