known about this game for a while but i’m just finding out that it’s super huge in jpn with lots of lets plays getting hundreds of thousands of views. super interesting to see considering the jpn indie game scene is way more niche and doesn’t really break thru to the western world in the same way

you can love a character and still admit when they're wrong. we love Iris but we can acknowledge her flaws (she has none) and we can hold her accountable for her wrongdoings (she has never done anything wrong in her life) and call her out on her actions (which are always correct)

slay the spire speedrunning is kinda like both at the same time. it’s like alternating whipping the game with a mouse and keyboard vs controller and it all requiring very frame-tight inputs

action/platformer speedruns: yea we have to do 100 frame perfect tricks to clip through all these sections and it's all skill based and precise practice and speed

what do you get when you combine sokoban puzzles, realtime life sim elements, mgs-inspired stealth segments, and anti-capitalism? a gestalt of a work that warped how i lived my life for a month which normally i can only begrudgingly hand it to live-service games for doing. highly recommend !!!!!
