Today in US History: On Feb. 3, 1870, the 15th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution was ratified, granted black men the right to vote. It was passed by Congress on February 26, 1869. Black Americans were set free by the 13th amendment. The 14th Amendment guaranteed citizenship.

Now that a president-elect is a convicted felon can we re-enfranchise the ~6 million people with felony convictions who get their voting rights stripped from them?

Or nah, because they aren’t white billionaires?

I’m so glad we followed all those norms and traditions for the last four years. Maybe they will find books about them in the rubble someday.

I dread the daily drama. The government run by tweets. The oligarchy plundering the country. The ignorant masses making excuses for the imbecile they exalted.

I’m embarrassed.

I’m ashamed.
