I agree. I was thinking along the same lines, wondering if we might build more EU cars here. Surely we can build other cars in those plants. Why do we have to build American Cars? We don't. Let them go back to the US. I won't buy them either!

No one can make Canadians drop their elbows on travel, no matter what Cheeto wants. I won't change my mind. I'm not interested in going there. There are too many other places in this world I'd rather see. But we need control of our own airspace. We must never compromise on that, even for steel

I love hearing about deals with other countries. Buying their planes and subs. Then I learn of a massive US defence equipment deal or a huge US ferry purchase. Talk of mutual security interests/golden dome discussion. A reporter asked Leblanc about it yesterday, he confirmed it is being discussed.

I do want Carney to employ some strategy to "win" a deal, but the only countries actually winning are the two who take no shit. There is nothing to gain from acquiescence. There may be a signed deal if there are enough compliments, but those deals are meaningless by the next truth he toots out.
