For decades, I have been trying to remember a method we had to use in high school to find square roots. Couldn't find it on the internet. But, a couple of nights ago, unable to get back to sleep after a loo call, I figured it out; then wrote it down next morning. Works for other roots as well.

Fascism isn't only rightwing. Marxism (i hesitate to call it Communism, since the Marxists stole the name) is, in my opinion, fascism trying to pass itself off as Socialism. The Marxists have only succeeded in giving Socialism a bad name, and have thus furthered the interests of our opponents.

For people who like wild mushrooms, I used to do mushroom picking up North, but also photographed them. I have since been using the photos as inspirations for paintings of wild mushrooms in their natural habitats. Paintings take from 2 months to 8 months and counting (for the current painting).

If Trump tries to take Greenland from Denmark by force, I reckon every other NATO country should join forces to help Denmark. Fuck the United States!

I'm brand new on here, but got the notion to Join after reading in Nature that Scientists are flocking to Bluesky. After reading up on it in Wikipedia (as well as what Bluesky has to say about itself), it seems like this might be just the place for an idiot like me!
