Hollow Knight: Silksong

Needs a bit of economy and early game damage tuning, and some frustrating game design (maggots), but otherwise a fantastic sequel that improves on HK as expected

Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate 🎮

Campaign: Story is a 9/10, gameplay is a 5/10
The metroidvania-esque mechanics are just don't flow very well with the core gameplay
The core progression and looting changes, as well as the bugs are a bit too frustrating to deal with tho

My firm stance on RPG turn-based combat is that it fucking sucks if you don't get to do anything during the enemy's turn, it's just plain frustrating
This game actually lets you take no damage and do extremely satisfying counters if you play well enough against attacks

Phenomenal RPG with actually fun and dynamic turn-based combat
The worldbuilding and visual style is just so unique and cool, with top-tier character designs and VA (Esquie and Monoco my beloved)

Also it's french, cocorico and all that
