When a boss you hated with a visceral level of emotion was actually extremely easy and the younger you had simply just missed or forgotten a tutorial 3 hours earlier about a game mechanic that trivializes the fight and you now have to sit there feeling like a fucking dunce for a few minutes

The Middle ground is despite me singing the praises of this fucking game for well over a year in spite of every single fucking thing arrow head has done to kneecap the game, i will instantly stop playing Helldivers 2 and all future arrowhead games if even a fucking shred of AI enters their dev cycle

I started to really get worried about prime 4 when they showed the trailer of the bike "open world" looking section and what i've been reading today has been so incredibly disappointing that my hype has evaporated
this is the most minute of good plays, but it was also the moment where that click happened in my brain and i was immediately able to recognize a situation and immediately capitalize, which is always a good sign of improvement

It has been a decade, but i'm reminded why Tales of Xillia Imo the best tales game to date, the game's characters endear to you right away, the combat's free flow structure allows for so much creativity, and you're given Mystery and stakes right out the gate that make you wanna see more. GOAT Game

despite my best efforts, i ended the FFXIV Crystalline Conflict PvP season outside of top 300 in terms of current points.
so imagine my surprise when i get this GM mail congratulating me for being in the top 300, only to discover the top 300 is based on your peak points, not your current. what?????
