Not really tbh. I'm aware people had issues with it but I assume the experience varied based on your weapon choices. Hunting horn and dual blade movesets with it were fun.
That said, I played 200ish hours of IB exclusively 4 player so that could have also affected how I experienced the mechanic.

For me personally the peak was Iceborne. The Fatalis fight was just a perfect send off for it too.
Wilds is still a fine game, but by the time I hit the credits all the little nagging problems got too much and I dropped it. Which is a shame given how many 100s of hours World and 4U each gave me.

My issue is the amount of development effort being expended on dragging the project as a whole in a direction I disagree with.

Not that I haven't enjoyed 2025, I've almost 100%ed Hades 2 and Blue Prince is one of the best gaming experiences I've had in years.
