Sadder update to my previous post. Mom is gone now for good. :( Passed at 10:28PM EST, before she could even be fully transferred from CCU to Hospice.

so I hate to be a bearer of bad news, but I need to official announcing this: my mother is not likely going to see the end of the week. She went into the ER last Monday morning for reasons related to her COPD, which she has had for 15-16 years.
