I‘ve just been to Beijing for a short work trip. Food is amazing. Very easy to navigate the city with public transport. You‘ll need to get Alipay or Wechat app as they are the only way to pay for things but they have loads of additional features such as translating menus.

Believe me I‘ve had my fair share of eating at „it‘ll do“ places when travelling and hungry. Sometimes they were spectacularly good. And sometimes not.

IKR! You‘d have to have a lot of time on your hands…or lots of staff. All this stuff would drive me bonkers!
