We are watching video from inside the Altoona McDonald's on Dec. 9 at 8:59AM showing a masked man buying food and at 9:28AM the police show up. In court Mangione is staring straight ahead at video screen.

Mangione's defense team will argue that police didn’t have a warrant to search his backpack. Evidence seized from the backpack includes a 3D-printed gun, silencer, notebooks and letters allegedly written by Mangione, as well as electronic devices.

The majority of these 24 members of the public (if not all) have been camped out since Saturday afternoon to save their place in line. They are wearing neon green wristbands with “We are with Luigi” printed on them and their numbered spots in line.

About 24 members of the public have been allowed into the courtroom, both men and women, many of whom are wearing green which is often used as a color of support for Mangione. One woman's shirt reads "Justice is not a spectacle"
