I really like this small lake in the Alps and come back here once in a while. All the woods around it have nice hidden vistas and spots that deserve to be painted. This will sure be a recurring location in my paintings.

Five years and I still like this painting. Subject and composition are nothing particular but that's the kind of stuff I like...mountains in the background and a landscape to explore.

Finally framed. This looked easy but it was hard in the end and I don't completely like where it landed. But was fun to try and paint something different and more challenging.
Good thing is that with a nice frame everything become cool!
