Playing FF Tactics for the first time? Here’s a tip. Go to Mandalia Plain. You’re gonna spend 5 miserable hours having all your characters power up like goku next to a terrified bird or have them throw rocks at each other until they’re max level. This is the best game ever made btw.

There’s a (very) brief melodic interval in this piece that evokes the Song of Prayer from FFX. I think that elegiac quality combined with the moment of entry to Greymoor, it all coalesced and struck me. This game already felt different to HK but this was the moment the WORLD felt different

One of my favourite parts of a runback is being given an holistic opportunity to farm resources or grind EXP. In my short time (6 hours or so) most of the rosaries I’ve collected have been in runbacks. It’s kinda nice (to me)
