This is exactly what ai won't give you. The short term dopamine shot when you see a pretty picture may be nice but you're missing out entirely on the pure euphoria that is noticing your long term improvement, gaining confidence of your own skills, the feel of being competent at something.
Went through my 2024 art folder and I started to cringe at some of the art which is a good sign because it means I still evolve as an artist and even when I don't feel it on the daily there's always room for improvement. But on the other I feel sad that some drawings look more wonky than I remember

Per the advice of my friends, I am going through with a fundraiser to get me out of here . My friend has offered to let me stay with them until I can get my own place. Unfortunately, I can't offer more commissions outside of what I need to pay bills until Im caught up.

Things have gotten so bad with my mom i fear i may have to make a gofundme to escape. Dealing with her has become unbearable. She's prone to scream over nothing, and this morning was a breaking point for me. Things /were never this bad/ a few years ago. Or maybe they were and im forgetting

if your standard sense of humor is the sort where you routinely heckle and roast your friends I need you to understand you can't just automatically do that to strangers on the internet and expect them to be chill about it. it really just comes off like you are being mean to someone for no reason.
