Some of my pictures from Saturday at the Houston No Kings protest. I was hesitant because my 10 yr old wanted to go and the fear mongering from the right is heavy in Texas. It was a party! We had fun and it felt good to be around so many people who share our values of Liberty and Justice for All.

This is the first year our lemon tree produced (17 lemons)! So, naturally, I made Martha Stewart's lemony brown butter cookies. As one does.

After 4 years, we have about 2 dozen lemons on our little patio tree! We made a little glass of lemonade with the first one picked.
