I'd always meant to check out Monument, Colo.'s Super Junk Vintage, because they promised "eclectic vinyl." "Yeah, yeah," I thought, "probably mainstream and overpriced." Hey, early Jane Siberry, mid-period Wet Willie, and the very first Jefferson Airplane!

The only violence coming from the protest at Phil Long Music Hall was from the "MAGA Force" trying to run people over. At the state GOP gala, attendees were paying $1500 to hear Steve Bannon and a Jan. 6 convicted protester. There is nothing left of the GOP but a Nazi stormfront.

Civil resistance vs. vigilantism: Has nonviolent protest lost its relevance?
“To do an extreme act of violence, a person must not have seen any hope. There are groups creating a pathway to positive change.”

The man. What a painful last few weeks. Had a long chat with David in the line for the port-a-potties in the big New York disarmament march of 1982. I saw the NY Dolls at a Spartan Speedway midnight show the night of my junior prom (top that). A giant will be missed.
