Any eastern Washington North Idaho people this rally is at Mission Park in Spokane Washington. My daughter just got her PhD in microbiology biochemistry and virology. Two of her friends who also got PhD‘s had gotten jobs at universities now rescinded due to DOGE. Come out and rally for science!

We have had a week of blue skies. Very cold but the sun is out. After November and December being nothing but gray days and cold rain, it is wonderful to see the sun.

Wonderful turn out today at the rally for women’s and lgbtq rights.

Thankful for a week of relaxing and reading by the fire with my love and my dog. Sometimes a winter cabin get away is just what’s needed to recharge for the new year

It also makes it harder for them to ban books.
