Cat owner pro tip: Only sick rodents run through the center of a room. Cats instinctively want to avoid sick rodents. If you really want to get them interested in a toy, make it "hide". Put stuff under boxes and drag wand/mouse toys along the walls.

I finally caught the doofus in action! Aly likes to stand with her front paws on one step and sit her rear on another. She stand/sits... stanits? Sitnds? Stts?... and stares at me right up until I pull out my phone to take a picture.

If my cats ever got out, and their collars/chips/tattoos all somehow failed, I have identifying traits for each one.

Aly is pretty unique overall in her coloring, but her cute little unique feature is the brown spot on her belly.
