uhhhhhhhhh sorry i think this is stupid. the whole point is that witches have protected people or whatever. they didn't use any forbidden magic in front of people so idk why this would literally change anything at all. there should've been like one massive display of forbidden magic or something

actually that long. man, i've been reading vinland for what? 8-9 years? it feels crazy for it to finally be done. i think i'd have been really sad to know how it ends at the start. the early stuff was so formative for me as a writer. it's just kind of depressing. i guess that's why i put off
