5/10. 💰Without a resource mobilisation strategy the FRLD faces the prospect of running out of money in 2026 or 2027 🤯. This would leave those least responsible for the #ClimateEmergency🌡️ continuing to pick up the bill for a crisis 🏭they did little or nothing to cause. 🚫⚖️

4/10. ⚠️Failure to operationalise the BIM at B7 will mean the FRLD can not launch the call for funding proposals. This will further delay vital support reaching countries and communities on the frontlines of the #ClimateCrisis. 🔥⛈️🌊

📢B6 saw intense discussions and looked as if it would collapse at one point as Board members worked to operationalise the BIM. Disagreement centered around the criteria against which funding proposals will be judged under the BIM and other issues. ✅

1. ⚙️Operationalising the Barbados Implementation Modalities (BIM) —the start-up phase of the Fund.
