I was in early teens when we moved to Manila. One day I walked into a record store (more like a bootleg tapes store) and there was a giant Psychocandy poster. The band name and imagery scared the shit out of me for some reason, and it took years for me to actually listen to the record. 😅

I seem to be getting more not less anxious about going to the dentist as I age, but at least this time their x-ray machine kept playing the first three notes in the melody from Goz Quarter off Autechre's Envane. Silver linings.
