Never thought I'd see the day when Badenoch actually got something right!

It's reminiscent of the KKK burning cross. 😔

Mine is 83! I'll swap 😄

It's dismaying but there's still time to turn it round Bob. Disaster has been averted in other countries

Touche, I'll see your ignorance comment and raise your arrogance. Time was one could have a reasoned debate but you gave up on that. Have a lovely day in your ivory tower with your superior intellect and I'll go back to knowing my place and doffing my cap.

Point still stands whether average is meaningless or not. Affluent areas attract affluent people who make informed choices to take a smaller property in favour of that area above others. London prices may have always been higher but so have the opportunities of living in that favoured city.
November 28, 2025 at 9:37 AM
Average house prices 50 years ago were £10k-£15k. For £50k then you would have bought a very large affluent home, much the same as you would for £2m today. Thank you for underlining that point. 👍

More terrifying if we were 6 months away from the election. They do keep dropping the ball but Starmer keeps doing it as well. Attacking Farage isn't right way to go, didn't work for Democrats. Need to give voters evidence Labour will improve their lives and take away appeal of snake oil salesman.

That's one word for him - I have others. "Maybe that's what Greta wanted to do, have the boat intercepted......rather than see the aid arrive". Dick. Maybe when he got cut up on his bike and knocked off it was what he wanted to happen so he could film it rather than arrive safely at work eh? 🤔

I take it that him and Farage never use the doctor when they're ill then as they can't trust the science behind diagnosis and cure. Thank goodness Reform peaked to early and have plenty time to blow their own bloody foot off before the next election.
September 25, 2025 at 2:48 PM
They'll only split the Reform vote
September 25, 2025 at 1:32 PM
Yep, that Doge is really cutting through, slashing expenses by the profligate council left right and centre. Good for those of you paying your council tax in Durham to know that Reform have got your back, no self interest there at all.
September 21, 2025 at 8:28 AM
I'm afraid Nick Clegg was a very willing and happy partner. He had choices in which party he would partner with post election and he chose to step to the right. That facilitated austerity and Brexit which in turn brought Johnson and Farage to the fore, I'll never forget or excuse that.

Happy to see reports of your demise have been somewhat exaggerated. Just in time for another cheery trip to the SoL. 🤞
August 30, 2025 at 4:16 AM
I'm sorry Ruth I can't agree. I expect Labour to focus on improving lives for the people with the least to remove the sense of injustice and smoke screen that protects the rich by demonising vulnerable groups who can't fight back - disabled people, pensioners, refugees. Appeasement isn't the answer
August 25, 2025 at 10:28 AM
Sleepwalking to a general election wipeout while they stick to the policy of appeasement to the far right while ignoring anyone with a social conscience.

Trying to stay relevant and failing miserably. She ought to buy a pub then she can just have a good old rant with the regulars and go to bed happy each night in the knowledge people were interested in what she had to say. Genuinely concerned about her state of mental health.
August 13, 2025 at 6:11 PM
Sadly it's not just an appearance Bob, it's a fact. 😞
July 26, 2025 at 7:59 AM
Yup. Too many outdoor pub/restaurants areas are no go areas for non-smokers I'm afraid.
June 29, 2025 at 8:34 AM
Sadly that's not even satirical 😢
May 13, 2025 at 8:44 AM
That's ok, they can be the first part of the substantial cost reductions Reform promise. I'm sure they'll be very happy to lead by example.....
May 10, 2025 at 8:59 AM
But for the avoidance of doubt Bob, if we don't get through the play offs I'm absolutely backing Regis 👍
May 2, 2025 at 6:25 PM
No, no, no and no again. They've learnt nothing from America. Right leaning voters will never vote Labour, no matter how much they chase them - but anyone with a social conscience will be abandoned and seek solace elsewhere. Step aside Starmer please
May 2, 2025 at 5:14 PM
I suspect they'll have some powerful alumni who'll assist in this along the way. He might well regret this more than he expects.
