Sole reason seems like a bit of a stretch. Did he and especially did his DOJ not understand the dangers of Trump. Yes. But you could argue that we are here because Obama never held Bush accountable. Or that Nixon was pardoned. Or a corporate court. Or McConnell? Or so many failings.

Saying ICE is broken and has been compromised to a point of no return is not a bad thing. Saying that we need to build a new with and for the community is also not a bad thing. I agree that defund the police caught on while the nuance of reallocation of the resources didn’t.

The GOP’s great failing is its inability to recognize that it could exist without Trump. Any Republican nominee would have won in 2024.

Voters are journalists and journalists are writers who love to tell stories. The idea that they vote just based on what happened within the year is to remove why they got into the profession. With a vote this close, I think it will make a huge difference.

The thing no one is talking about and I think is a huge deal for voters, is that this will be seen as a life time achievement award for Stafford just as much as how good he was this year. His Hall of Fame career is deserving of a MVP the narrative goes, plus Maye will get his later (plus many more).
