The percentage of feds who can pick their next job is small. People are scared of losing not just their jobs, which they love and are dedicated to (as if that is easy to replace), but their homes and stability of their families. Glad I'm not paying you $10/month to insult my intelligence.

Milley's response tells me it was a good thing for those who wanted it. But how do you reconcile taking an action like this against the incoming wannabe dictator when you stood outside the WH for a smiling photo op with him just a few weeks ago? He should never have normalized him in any way.
