I don’t know why anyone who has watched the decimation of living standards for working class people consistently over decades by successive governments would feel confident about better times ahead. Just more of the same ahead because we keep doing the same thing over and over.

We should be vigorously opposing this policy for the harm this (and all means testing) causes to working class people. We don't have to manufacture harm to the employers for whom let's get real are not giving people adjustable hours dependent on whether their young adult offspring are in/out of work

The people most impacted just don't have the kinds of bosses they are asking them how many hours they would like to do. And even then it still leaves them financially disadvantaged from where they are today.

manage it or not, or whether it suits their family. Means testing is about serving capital, not working class people. This will straight up hurt families, and very few wage earners will have a work around. Wealthier families with carefully structured income will be able to work the system though.

Why are they spouting 'vote' when we have Hipkins who won't even condemn this policy, let alone commit to reversing or god forbid good policy?

Should patients have to spend more money and time on getting essential medications to prop up pharmacy businesses? Dispensing medications should not be for profit, and it doesn't have to be.

There is some good independent media out there, but it does take more effort to weed out what is reliable and what is not. But what you will not get is the truth from people with a vested interest in reporting anything but. Or at the least obfuscating it.

It's not an opinion that they are employed by the exact same people. I'm sure you do, that's the same reason people who watch the other legacy media also reporting dishonestly watch theirs too. I get it's difficult to accept being lied to and not being aware of it. Just follow the money is my advice

Those people also work for the same owners, with the same interests. People are just willing to overlook the dishonesty from people they believe to be on their 'team'. None are working for public interest, but capital interests. Those two things are in direct conflict.
