Poem: The sun rises and with it, hope disguised as a new day I never understood hope, nor saw its need Until I sat with love and felt its heartbeat I forgot to live when I sat with love All I could do was look at its eyes and see eternity; A day with no night, like hope without fear It asked me if I loved the sunset. And I asked if it would stay with me when hope was swallowed by the moon. Poem: It said, Just as I rise with the sun, I must set wth it' And therein lay my answer. So I said I used to love sunsets, a beautiful dance of colours in the clouds. Until I met a soul more beautiful.
