A2 I don't really know what their expectations are. I don't think they see it linked to their studies but support available from e.g student Life.

The student Volunteering society based at the Uni emphasises the great wellbeing and belonging that arises from volunteering #lthechat

A1 I teach on a PGCert...I try to remind them about their wellbeing opportunities but having an explicit element in that curriculum may be challenging.

Noting our approaches evolve and adapt according to student characteristics, external factors etc and perhaps the most adept educator is one who acts as 'catalyst' - like the Cheshire Cat recognising when to step in.

I LOVE this consideration of not having one fixed metaphor. I explore visual metaphors, impacts on this and approaches to teaching on our PG Cert & refer to Sfard's caution of reliance on one.
