Today’s finale of my month of travelling to present was at the Helen Arkell Dyslexia Charity and it was brilliant! Such a fun and interactive day exploring in depth pedagogy as well as practical strategies. Brilliant feedback and I didn’t lose or break anything!

Conferences are always so different and I am always fascinated to see the chemistry and emerging message. For me the @positivedyslexia conference in Twickenham didn’t disappoint. Yesterday, empowerment and knowledge was the main theme for me.

Morph Mastery for Groups. One child's comment was that she had known some of the spellings before but now she REALLY knows them.

That's what morphology does. It's about knowing words, understanding words, and linking vocabulary to spelling. It works!

One of today’s training tasks. The portal is similar to the matrix mentioned in the DfE Writing Framework but it allows for a stronger spelling structure with the suffixing rules clearly marked.
