It is worth noting the newest office dog is exceptionally tiny.

I almost walked off with this one in my jacket pocket today @darthbluesky.bsky.social, but her owner objected.

My daughter messages me about her college class.

"The infographic on (the teacher's) slide is old enough that it has Google Plus, Hangouts, Skype, and the original Twitter logo."

My niece in Florida recently had a medical emergency and had to undergo brain surgery. Her doctor? A former college football player who was later drafted by the Titans and later was signed by the Steelers.

Now, he just saves kids' lives as a pediatric surgeon.

This Friday, I'm heading to Denver with my daughter and her friend to see Underworld.

Due to travel requirements, the friend leaves age 17 from California with a passport showing their gender and name assigned at birth. They turn 18 on the trip and identify with a different name and gender now.

Music rec of the night: Kenobix, who I've never heard before. YTM recommended them and they have something for everyone. This is great background music for the week.

Some classical violin mixed with soaring vocals and EDM.

Watching The Playlist (2022) on Netflix, which ostensibly follows the launch of Spotify, and I swear every film director thinks startups purchase Nerf guns before desk chairs.

Berkeley is beautifully underrated. I dropped my daughter off safely at a concert in SF, and took BART across the bay to visit this exceptional place.

I first stepped foot on this campus thirty years ago, and it seems little has changed in a generation.

This fluffy dope of a puppy is likely getting adopted soon. There's an offer for Abby to join the family of some well to do CFO in Los Altos Hills, where she will no doubt be pampered.

I'm considering going as well.
