As the article mentions, those cases are from employment tribunals. Licensing Act 2003 states that premises supervisors that licensees can refuse service to anyone without explanation as long as it is not exercised based on protected characteristics.

And yet I'm seeing multi millionaires on television complaining that they may have to pay some IHT on their assets, whilst I'm sat here utterly despondent over what to do next. Honestly - get over yourselves and read the room. We are at breaking point.

Short of turning to crime or something much worse I'm at a loss on what to do. I've been working for nearly 20 years - always paying my tax and always contributing my share to the economy. Now I'm 37, no children, no job and no money.

Anyway, first statement for UC comes in and it won't even be enough to pay my rent. Let alone Council Tax, utilities or food. I called them to clarify and was told that the calculation is correct.

Not a great day as I had to go to CAB, then the food bank (as I'm now out of work for 5 weeks and had nothing in the cupboards) and then to the JC appointment in the late afternoon. I've been applying for jobs EVERY SINGLE DAY and still not even an interview.
