Just submitted an application for my first gallery show in [redacted] years. My last show I had such bad imposter syndrome. Anxiety won so I kind of quit art. Years of therapy + the catalyst of a pandemic reminded me that I can’t not do this and humblebrag I’m really good. Actually, just a brag.

Day 2:
•grateful I still have naturally dark hair
•grateful for songwriters. Alchemizing words: a framework for singing to communicate feelings, ideas, sometimes shit-talking
•grateful for hand me down devices.: a nice toaster oven + smart watch. Crispy and the watch lets me track distance + HR.

•grateful I know what The View Between Villages Extended Version is and that my car stereo goes to 40.
•grateful for clay ice packs
•grateful for pre-cut broccoli florets

That late diagnosed, newly medicated adhd reckoning is no joke. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhh.
