Basically, the UK Gov changed reporting rules last year (so, under Labour, Mahmood specifically) to make malicious communications (mainly online) against trans people harder to report / taken less seriously.

More concerningly, reports for criminal damage & public order are down as well.

(secondary sexual characteristics, genital configuration, presence of gonads, blood hormone balance, and X/Y genotype if you're interested. Only the last can't be changed. It's also irrelevant for most purposes, and most people don't know what theirs are)

Whether human beings can change their "biological sex" depends how biological sex is defined. There are several ways to do this, and it's not true for most of them.

Of course, what GCs mean by "biological sex" is actually assigned sex at birth, which is none of the above.

If it meant a gunfight on the streets and civilian casualties, what governor would be willing to do this? And what would Trump's next move be? I suspect it would involve a lot more guns and possibly the military. This could be slow-walking an armed conflict.
