Worcestershire County Council’s Reform minority administration is the latest group attempting to use last year’s Supreme Court judgment to exclude trans people.

But it wouldn’t be lawful. We’re ready to fight back:

A lot has happened recently on the EHRC’s proposed bathroom ban but they're still trying to exclude trans people from public life. The EHRC aren’t changing course, and we have to keep the pressure up.

Who are the cool, up-and-coming early career trans women and transfem non-binary people doing scholarship in women's and gender studies - particularly outside North America?

I'd love to hear about their work!

Interesting how even now, in the US, courts are protecting trans children's healthcare data privacy rights.

In the UK, trans children's Sussex GP data was forcibly handed over to NHS England late last year.

& the law changed to force access to the data of 9,000 adults who were children at GIDS.
BREAKING: Another of DOJ's invasive trans care subpoenas quashed as to patient records. This one was challenged by patients of Children's National Hospital.

I recall a conversation back in 2016 with a speech psychologist studying hearing. There are well studied (but not well understood) differences in hearing between genders. She found that the hearing profiles of Trans women correspond to Cis women and Trans men to Cis men.
Scientific research of gender transition has been stuck on "should these people be allowed to transition" for 50 years, so we don't know shit about how transitioning actually works.
Okay, transphobes freaking out because trans woman makes good on Broadway, yadah, yadah. But you skimmed right over the interesting bit. Estrogen made her feet smaller?? This is the kind of weird factoid I need to know more about. Is there scientific backing for this? Is it just anecdotal?

New research maps the campaign to erase trans people from UK data 🔢

This peer-reviewed article offers the first detailed account of how UK campaign groups have sought to define sex as strictly biological across the census, policing, healthcare and digital ID.

Life has stood in the way of doing some of the things I really want to do.

In 2026 I’m going to change that.

My artist identity hasn’t been watered and it’s been screaming to get out.

These works are advocacy. They aren’t pretty. They’ll make you uncomfortable. I hope they’ll move us forward.
I’m exhibiting three new works in Brixton this February in the ‘Under Our Skin’ exhibition for LGBTQ+ History Month.

Celebrate the launch with me.

Incredibly important new study from Cal Horton @fiercemum.bsky.social - the first to look at England's post-Cass child/adolescent gender clinics. Dr Horton found patients and families are being actively harmed, with one young person describing appointments as "the worst thing I’ve ever experienced”.

The article also evidences the benefits of affirmative healthcare provision.

All interviewees had positive experiences of affirmative GP-led care at WellBN in Brighton.

That service has been consistently attacked by NHS England & Sussex ICB for providing affirmative care. 3/4

The quote in the title "The worst thing I’ve ever experienced" refers to a young teenager's experience in the new NHS gender clinics for under 18s.

The article evidences the many harms within these clinics that were designed, post Cass Review, to be less affirmative than the older GIDS service 2/4

I got a load of new followers today, I think because I am on this excellent list. Share and follow to make new friends and grow a community for resistance and change.
My suspicion is that the Trans community and allies left Twitter and arrived here early but it’s still worth re-upping this for those who left it a little longer:
