I sat down with my dad to interview him, get some insight into his life and the legacy he’s built in his lifetime and I learned so much about his work as an activist. It’s my hope to do more to tell his story.

Yes, I’ve seen it. The family in His House are actually from South Sudan. Hoodoo is an African American practice- it is what is because of slavery and Christianity. So it doesn’t really fit in this particular discussion.
