i realized that having a venting journal did me more harm than good. i need to work on that.

the last substack entry that I have was my 2025 techo kaigi. and the next one might be my 2026 techo kaigi 😂 i though i was able to write this year, unfortunately, life happened. try again next year.

Yeah. I think I'm already maxed out with the pens, inks, and journals. I need to really restrict myself to only buy new ones after I finished or filled out one. It would be difficult, but I need to persevere! 😅

So... I bought a Pilot Vanishing Point in the 18k gold nib because I panicked when I saw that it's the last one in stock from my local shop and I remembered Pilot is discontinuing it 🥲

Glad to hear about the improvements for TRP Sanzen paper on Hobonichi but I will still wait until December-January before buying my 2026 Weeks 🫣 had to get confirmation from my fountain pen enthusiasts first before I make a decision.

I realized that I have a completely different handwriting font when using fountain pens vs. gel pens. I don’t mind it mostly but there are times when my brain would just point it out then the perfectionist demon would just whisper some dumb shit 😂 (it’s a problem i know LMAO)

Book covers (other than a clear plastic cover) makes me anxious I don’t know why. So I have not really paid that much attention to them. HOWEVER, I’ve been looking at cloth eastern embroidered book covers and I’m vibrating 😂

Happy new pen day to me! 🥰 I finally bought a Jinhao 82 and a new ink bottle. I wasn’t expecting for it to write this smooth. I’m so happy!
Comparing this fine nib to Kaküno’s fine nib, it’s thicker. Like in the middle of a medium and fine. I think I prefer this one better.
