Scrapper was a parasite, unyielding to Hook's frame, familiarity he had felt. Scrapper couldn't let go of the distance taste of his lover. Clawing in to keep the others from tearing him off.
They eventually did, leaving Hook in the consequences of his actions, alone in a puddle of now gross fluids.

I think they'd let him mourn, albeit upset that he's defiling their bosses corpse, but they were conjunxed (and Hook DID lock himself in his study with some big feelings)

I could imagine (Since Scrapper was decapitated when Spike got his ass). Hook would be covered in clawed wounds and love chomps, letting him pass into more masochist tendencies, accepting the torture.. until Scrapper's helm literally pops off xD
