This reads like it was written by some old person stuck in the 1950s who hasn’t kept up with the current science on fluoride. It echoes the same resistance we saw from paper mill owners who denied the link between PCBs & cancer. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but not their own facts.

The dose argument fails for neurotoxicants. Fluoride is not essential and does not require ingestion for dental benefit. U.S. biomonitoring shows many children have high urinary fluoride, indicating real overexposure. Lead was defended the same way.

Fluoride is a neurotoxin to the developing brain. The EU just conducted a review and they are categorizing it as an endocrine disruptor and neurotoxicant. EPA held a meeting today about it.

I doubt it is going to happen. Fluoride production companies are shutting down. The writing is on the wall, and they likely do not want the liability. Fluoride is the new lead. The EPA held a meeting today on fluoride. It is a neurotoxin to the developing brain.

There are lots of alternatives. Theodent varnish is FDA approved. Hydroxyapatite has been around for awhile now. www.cnet.com/health/perso...

I would not want my kid's urine to have 1.5 mg/L when the NTP concluded we have the most evidence for neurotoxicity at 1.5.

Total fluoride intake is what's important. We don't just get fluoride from drinking water and it is a poison. US children are overdosed.

It’s important to recognize how much dentistry has changed since your childhood. Cleanings, sealants, improved hygiene education, better nutrition awareness, and targeted care all play major roles today. Declining lead in blood has also reduced cavities.
