Thoughts so far on my first day (it's only lunchtime): i'm overwhelmed and tired because it's a lot to learn, but i'm also having fun! It helps that i have the basics down, just need to really learn the routine for the students @ the library. I have a lot to learn/pick up but i think i can do it 🫶

Went to thrift to decompress after wrk pre-employment physical & got annoyed seeing discs all swapped in game/music cases. Put some of them back as i was looking (ha to person who hid them), but then got anxious after thinking workers may think *i* was trying to be slick & hide stuff in my purchases

Today was officially my last day at the library :'). Spent like an hour on goodbyes, got some yummy treats from now (former) coworkers </3 and lots of hugs. Almost 4 years of my life there. I know i'll cry reading my goodbye book, and there's still ppl that need to sign it T^T

Bro i can't handle this pressure, i just interviewed this morn why are u already sending me an offer of employ?? i wanted more time 2 think abt if i wanna be the solo El school librarian !! I thought they'd call my references 1st but they already sent the "probationary offer" if ref+checks clear !!!
I had a test yesterday to qualify for a position (passed with a 90%) & a panel interview today for a different position which should be exciting. It's all going *fine* but i feel so unmotivated & like unsure about everything. What are dreams & passion? i dunno. What do i want? Where do i wanna be?

Teen cashier told me _ store no longer price matches w/their online prices but i felt like he was lying. I didn't argue, paid, then went to the registers up front to ask about the policy and got my $3 back on the videogame i bought cuz yes they *FUCKING* do
