Oh, not to worry. It’s just that I’m trying to be as diligent as possible and still failing that is the soft spot. All good 😊

I like connecting - running an e-commerce business can be pretty isolating. Also it shows that there's a real human being responding (Or at least I think it does - for context, my Chat GPT skills are toddler level)

Hello all.

For the next 10 days, receive 20% off your order with code 20%OFF-OCT only at lowens.ca

US friends, all products should be tariff and duty free as they fall under #CUSMA and we are also shipping internationally.

Take care of yourself and of each other.

No, not outside of the West of Canada. We're mostly e-commerce but Federated COOP carries a couple of products (not Smooth Criminal Shave Cream anymore unfortunately)
Some products are on Amazon US through one of our reseller partners.

That has been my recommendation to Adam and others. I'm reshipping orders via FedEx, which has crossed to the US without any extra charges (I also prepay the brokerage).

Not trying to inflame anyone but I paid the brokerage fees upfront to UPS, and my products fall under CUSMA, so they should be tariff, duty and tax free.

The brokerage fee was prepaid when we purchased the label. Adam lines out the costs. There's a new "FDA" fee that we've never seen... Lots of moving parts and I hate to vilify UPS but we did not run into this with FedEx (I moved away from them when my shipping vendor pulled them offline for a bit)

Agreed, although, my province had (maybe still has) the highest measles levels in Canada. My products are measles free though...

Well, handgun ownership is illegal in Canada 😉, so we don't have any, ha ha ha.

Round 2 shipping tomorrow via FedEx. Sorry for the inconvenience Adam.

If they charge tariffs (they didn't used to), I'm going to increase my blood pressure medication! 😅

With the last name Zelensky, I don’t think they want to hear from me, LOL!

I think it has to do with the carrier (USPS may be more forgiving than the others). But, yes, I don’t think Canada customs is scrambling as well. I emailed them 3 weeks ago and, even after many F/U emails, still nothing.

Thanks for the nod Beth. More than half of our ingredients come from less than 100 miles away and the honey and beeswax we use are from our own hives (about a mile away)

Lol, they're closed on Saturdays. So another attempt to remedy is on Monday I guess...

FedEx seems to be back in play - they worked well in the past. We were couriering packages into Montana and using USPS, but with our volume down, that system isn't economical.
