calling curation "dead" is largely hyperbole but i do think it's become the viewer responsibility to seek it out versus it partly being bundled with the art

today is the 33rd anniversary of cartoon network and it's made me consider how curation is dead now. every work of art stands by itself as something to be consumed in the moment, then dies shortly after. CN used to have bumpers with all the characters in a shared city. that doesn't exist anymore
